Pro Barber College
Pro Barber College trains barbers at a main campus in Torrance and a branch campus in Westminster, California. Four certificate programs are offered: a 1,000-hour barber course, a 400-hour barber crossover course for licensed cosmetologists, a 400-hour barber refresher, and a 600-hour barber instructor course. The college states it is approved to operate by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education and by the Board of Barbering and Cosmetology, and enrollment is continuous, so students may start at any point in the year. Campus hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
In its 2024 report to the Bureau, the college listed 98 enrolled students and a 75.68 percent pass rate on the California barber examination. It is not accredited by a US Department of Education-recognized accreditor and does not participate in federal Title IV financial aid.
