RaBarber – Barberio kursai, Vilnius
RaBarber is a busy Vilnius Old Town barbershop with two sites on Pylimo, and it runs three distinct course tracks taught by different instructors, an unusual structure that lets you pick the teacher as much as the syllabus.
The first track runs at 2,000 euros per person in a group or 2,800 one-to-one with a minimum of two students, covering fade transitions, men’s cuts, beard shaping, hygiene and client communication, though its duration is not stated. The second runs four weeks across 20 lessons at three to four hours a day on a five-day pattern, at the same prices, covering short cuts, beard shaping and shaving, fade types, the Vidal Sassoon system and styling, and ends with a certificate. The third comes in two lengths: a 40-hour short course at 1,700 euros introducing the profession, short cuts, beard modelling and depilation, and a 60-hour advanced course at 2,500 euros extending through to classical shaving and modern design cuts. Teaching is in Lithuanian, Russian and English. No start dates are published, so ask.
One point applies across all five Lithuanian providers here: none of them appears in the state register of vocational training programmes, and none is funded through the employment service. Every certificate in this market is the academy’s own. That is not unusual for barbering in Lithuania, the trade is entered through private training and shop-floor experience, but it does mean you should judge these on the teaching and the price rather than on any implied official standing.
