SA College of Beauty, Hair and Health in Brackenhurst, Alberton, is one of the few South African providers that treats barbering as a full qualification in its own right rather than a module inside a hairdressing certificate. Its published course list names both Barbering and a combined Hairdressing and Barbering programme among its full qualifications, and its barbering provision is independently confirmed on the ITEC and VTCT college register, which shows the college approved to deliver both the Level 2 Diploma in Barbering and the Level 3 Diploma in Barbering.
