Salon Success Academy

Salon Success Academy is a Southern California beauty school with campuses in Corona, Fontana, Redlands, Riverside and Upland. Note that the academy teaches its barbering program at the Riverside and Upland campuses rather than at Redlands, which offers cosmetology, esthetics and manicuring, so barbering students in the Redlands area attend one of those two locations.

The barbering program runs 1,000 clock hours and can be completed in as little as 30 weeks full-time or 50 weeks part-time, with day and evening classes available. Coursework covers infection control, hair and scalp disorders, shaving, men’s and women’s haircutting, chemical texture services, haircoloring and barbershop management, and prepares students to sit for California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology examinations. The academy reports accreditation by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences and eligibility for federal financial aid.
