Senac São Paulo – Curso de Barbeiro
Senac is Brazil’s national commercial vocational training network, and a Senac certificate carries more weight with employers than almost any private alternative in the country. Its Curso de Barbeiro in São Paulo state runs 172 hours in person and is classified as a curso livre. Entry requires completed ensino fundamental 2 and a minimum age of 18.
The stated learning outcome is to higienizar, hidratar, cortar, modelar and alter the structure and colour of beard and hair using visagismo technique, alongside competencies in organising the workspace, purchasing materials, customer service, pricing work and biosafety. The course is delivered across multiple Senac units in São Paulo state rather than at a single address, so check which unit is running the next intake. Prices are set per unit and per cycle and are not published centrally; Senac also operates the Programa Senac de Gratuidade, which provides free places for lower-income applicants, so ask about eligibility. Intakes run in cycles, and it is normal for the page to show no open class between them.
