The London School of Barbering – Manchester

The London School of Barbering’s Manchester academy is at 44 Fountain Street in the city centre and delivers the school’s full course range, with qualifications awarded through Focus Awards. Beginner options include a 12-week Beginner to Master course covering Level 2 and Level 3, a nine-week Beginner to Job Ready course at Level 2, and part-time Level 2 routes running over 20 Saturdays or 24 weeks of evenings.

Courses for working barbers include a three-week Advanced Masters in Barbering at Level 3, a three-week Advanced Diploma at Level 2, a one-week Clipper and Fading Fundamentals course, and two-day Skin Fade Master and Wet Shave Master classes. Conversion routes run for hairdressers moving into barbering over two weeks and for make-up artists over five days. Teaching is hands-on and set up to replicate a working barbershop, combining traditional barbering with modern men’s hairdressing.
