The Salon Professional Academy Regina (formerly The Style Academy)

The Style Academy in Regina now trades as The Salon Professional Academy; its former domain redirects to the new site, where the centre describes itself as formerly The Style Academy and, before that, Richards Beauty College. It operates from Broad Street.

Barbering is taught as named content within the Hairstyling Diploma, which runs 40 to 52 weeks full time for a total of 1,500 hours. The barbering component is listed as fades, men’s design cuts, beard shaping and scissor-over-comb work, sitting alongside precision haircutting, design principles and texturising, colour theory and advanced formulation including balayage and foiling, styling fundamentals such as braids, blowouts, updos and thermal setting, and business, branding and personal development training. A separate Barbering Diploma covering precision cutting, shaving, facial treatments, hygiene and client care is advertised as forthcoming, but its length and schedule had not been published at the time of checking.
