Tina Kay Training Centre

Tina Kay Training Centre is a long-established Cypriot hairdressing school with branches on Saripolou Street in Limassol and Perikleous Street in Strovolos, Nicosia, and it appears in the national register of Cyprus hairdressing schools. Independent confirmation that it is a recognised training centre rather than a shop offering lessons.

Two things need flagging honestly, because they affect whether you should rely on it. Its website currently has an expired security certificate, which makes the site unreachable in most browsers and is a real maintenance signal rather than a cosmetic one. And its former British awarding-body approvals appear to have lapsed, both its VTCT and iTEC provider pages now return not-found errors, so a qualification you might have expected to be UK-recognised may no longer be. The centre maintains active social media for its training arm, so it does appear to be operating. Course durations, syllabus and prices could not be verified because the site cannot be read; phone the branch you would attend and ask specifically which awarding body currently certifies the barbering course.

On Cypriot credentials: the mark worth looking for is approval by the Human Resource Development Authority, which subsidises approved training, alongside registration in the national register of hairdressing schools. No Cypriot provider listed here holds HRDA approval, so their certificates are either in-house or issued through a foreign awarding body.
