Tribeca Barber & Beauty School, LLC

Tribeca Barber and Beauty School is on 63rd Road in Rego Park, Queens, New York. It opened in 2004 in Manhattan’s Tribeca neighborhood and moved to its current Queens campus in 2017. The school states it is licensed by the New York State Department of Education, and lists a 510-hour Master Barber program of about four months, a 360-hour Express Barber program of about three months, a 1,000-hour cosmetology program, a three-hour infection control course required for licensing, and a short hair extensions course.

Training prepares students for the New York State Department of State practical examination leading to the master barber license, and the school reports hosting that examination on site. Morning, afternoon and weekend groups are available, and instructors teach in English, Spanish and Russian.
