Winston Salem Barber School (Greensboro Campus)

Winston Salem Barber School’s Greensboro campus is located on Stanley Road in Greensboro, North Carolina. The North Carolina Board of Barber and Electrolysis Examiners lists this location as a separately licensed school under the name Winston Salem Barber School #2, alongside the main Winston-Salem campus. Both locations offer the same Barber and Stylist curriculum and student services.

The Barber and Stylist program runs 1,528 clock hours over 44 weeks and follows the Milady Standard Barbering text. Instruction is organized in five parts covering barbering history and professional practice; general sciences including infection control, anatomy, chemistry, and the properties of skin and hair; hair and scalp treatment, shaving, and men’s haircutting and styling; women’s haircutting, chemical texture services and hair coloring; and business skills. Students work on the clinic floor throughout the program, which concludes with a practical examination modeled on the state board apprentice exam.
