Zziwa Hair Academy – Hair Cutting & Barbing, Kampala
Zziwa Hair Academy publishes the clearest price list of any East African provider in this directory, and its barbering module is explicitly named and costed: Hair Cutting and Barbing, two months, 500,000 Ugandan shillings.
That sits within a full published catalogue, hair styling at two months and 750,000, bridal styling at two months and 850,000, braiding and extensions at three months and 1,050,000, chemical texture servicing, facials, gel and powder nails, beauty makeup, salon management and wig making all at four to five weeks between 350,000 and 650,000. Longer programmes run too: a two-year Diploma in Cosmetology and Hair Dressing at 650,000 a semester and an eighteen-month Certificate at 450,000 a semester, both carrying a one-time registration fee of 270,000 and both including the hair cutting and barbing module.
The academy has branches at Banda, opposite Nabisunsa Girls School, and at Nansana in Wakiso District. No DIT assessment or UBTEB accreditation is stated, so the certificate is the academy’s own. This listing previously pointed at a Facebook page; the academy’s own site is the link here.
