About these terms

These terms govern your use of barbercourses.com. By browsing the directory, submitting a course, claiming a listing or purchasing a Premium Partner placement, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

We may revise these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the moment you use the site is the version that applies.

What this directory is, and what it is not

BarberCourses.com is an independent directory. We list barbering courses, schools and academies so that prospective barbers can find and compare them.

We are not a training provider. We do not deliver courses, award qualifications, accredit schools or act as an agent for any school listed here. A listing on this site is not an endorsement, a recommendation, or a warranty that a course is accredited, currently running, or suitable for you.

Before you enrol on or pay for any course, verify directly with the provider: the awarding body behind the qualification, the current price, the start dates, and the refund policy. Any contract you enter into is between you and the provider, not with us.

Accuracy of listings

Listing information comes from the schools themselves, from their published material, and from our own research. We take reasonable care to keep it current, but course details change frequently and we cannot guarantee that every entry is accurate or complete at the moment you read it.

If you find an entry that is wrong or out of date, tell us through the contact page and we will correct or remove it.

Submitting and claiming listings

If you submit or claim a listing you confirm that you are authorised to act for the business concerned, and that the information you provide is accurate and not misleading.

You keep ownership of the text and images you supply, and you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to publish, display, reproduce and adapt that material for the purpose of running and promoting the directory. You confirm that you hold the rights necessary to grant that licence.

We may edit listings for length, clarity, formatting and house style. We may decline, suspend or remove any listing at our discretion, in particular where it is not a barbering course, where it is misleading, where it duplicates an existing entry, or where it breaches these terms.

Premium Partner listings

Premium Partner placements are sold as a paid subscription for a fixed period, described on the pricing page at the point of purchase. The placement gives your listing enhanced visibility; it does not guarantee any particular number of views, enquiries or enrolments.

Subscriptions run for the period stated and renew only if you choose to renew. You may cancel at any time, in which case the placement runs to the end of the period already paid for. Because the placement goes live immediately, fees for a period already started are not refundable except where the law requires it or where we have failed to deliver the placement.

We may remove a Premium Partner listing without refund if it breaches these terms.

Acceptable use

You must not use this site to post anything unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, deceptive or infringing. You must not scrape, harvest or bulk-copy the directory, attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it, introduce malicious code, or use automated systems in a way that places unreasonable load on our infrastructure.

You must not submit fake listings or fake reviews, or impersonate another business.

Intellectual property

The design of this site, its layout, branding, written editorial content and the compiled directory database are owned by us or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and database rights. You may link to the site and quote short extracts with attribution. You may not reproduce substantial parts of the directory, or reuse the compilation, without our written permission.

Trade marks and logos belonging to listed schools remain the property of those schools.

Links to other sites

The directory contains links to third-party websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, their accuracy, or their privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.

Liability

The site is provided on an “as is” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude all warranties, express or implied, as to the accuracy, completeness or fitness for purpose of any information on it.

We are not liable for any loss arising from your reliance on a listing, from any dealings between you and a school, from any course you enrol on, or from any interruption to the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Nothing in these terms affects the statutory rights of a consumer.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the EU, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of your own country’s law.
